Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are essential tools in safeguarding lives and property. They are often the first line of defense against fires, capable of containing or extinguishing small fires before they escalate into major emergencies. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), fire extinguishers are effective in 93.5% of cases when used correctly. In fact, a recent study determined that as high as 84% of fires are small enough to be handled with a fire extinguisher, preventing the need for more extensive fire-fighting measures.

Having a fire extinguisher readily available can significantly reduce the risk of injury and property damage. For more information on the importance of fire extinguishers and how to use them effectively, visit the U.S. Fire Administration's guide on choosing and using fire extinguishers.
