Genesee Fire Rescue’s 2025 Slash Collection Event is now complete! 

Thanks to the participation and efforts of our community, we have been able to significantly reduce fire hazards and promote a safer environment for everyone. We had participants from Genesee Foundation, Genesee Village, and others in and around the Genesee Fire Protection District!

Likewise, Jefferson County’s slash drop off at the Tincup Ridge Slash Yard is complete for the 2025 season. For more information, please visit the Jefferson County Slash Collection site. You can also sign up for Jefferson County’s Slash Alerts to be notified of the 2026 schedule or updates to the SLASH program. The 2026 schedule will be released in early spring.  Together, we can continue to protect our community from wildfire risks.
